Are you a blogger or trying to become a blogger, if you have not been familiar with this topic, I think you are among the lucky people viewing this post.
Did you ever know that your entire blog can just be deleted without you knowing the reason or cause?. This has noting to do with either you are an expert blogger it can happens to anybody and it happens for many reasons.
Reasons why you need to back-up your blog
1. Without you knowing the reason or cause, your blog can just get deleted.I mean your blog can just disappear.
2. You can mistakenly delete your blog while working on your dashboard.
3. This can also happen when your are trying to make changes in on your design.
4. This commonly happen when you go against Google terms and condition. Google can just delete your blog even without your notice.
I believe with all this fact stated above, you should have been convince by now that you really need to back-up your Blog.
This is very much important than any other thing because if your have been blogger for 2, 3, 4, 5years or more any suddenly one day you just discover that your post has disappear. I mean all your post you have been publishing for years just disappear. Am very sure you will know how your will feel.
You can decide to back-up your blog every week or daily or the way your prefer it. Once you do a new back-up, then you delete the old one.
I will give a detail procedure on how you can back-up your blog in just a few minute.
Procedure
1. First log into your blogger dashboard,
2. Locate setting and click 'settings', then click 'others', now select 'export blog'.
3. Now your screen will look this way, now click 'download blog'
4. The blog will start to download directly to download folder. though at times it goes to document folder, so check the two places
5. Once the download is finished, then go to download folder I.e where all files are downloaded.
One you get there, you will see something like this
This is your back-up file and make sure you keep it safe.
